ZNAMOGIKA - WHAT IS IT?

KNOW + CAN + LOGIC 

This is the logic of the znamogeek - the one who knows and can at the same time. You might have read Elin Pelin's story about the giants Know and Can. Know says, "I have to." Can says, "It will be." So, with united effort and will, they break the rock to make way for people. Znamogika is a system created and developed in real pedagogical practice. We learn and create on the fly because life is the best teacher.

 

Sharing the system, along with the free online education resources specifically designed for it, is the result of our goodwill gesture to all adults who seek interesting and quality teaching aids for their children or themselves, as well as for all children who are with us to give them the best we can and to support them in their quest to fulfill their mission here and now.

 

Here the methodological guidelines are kept to a minimum, as we believe that:

  • There is no need to teach the alphabet of the profession to a good teacher. He will figure out how to apply the given and lend a hand to the child to enter the depths of knowledge, rediscovering his world.

  • A new teacher in pedagogy needs to build his approach, speak his own language, and create his own style of interaction with children. Therefore, it is a good idea to look for your strongholds, your best quality, your way to cognitively communicate with them. Until recently he/she was a student too, wasn't he?! Probably his/her most important lesson from school was that everyone needed time and space to feel themselves and to feel where, how, when, why ... Valid answers to these questions everyone receive themselves - even the teacher, and most of all the teacher, in order to become a true teacher!

  • A parent who is genuinely caring for their child and aware of his or her individual needs and characteristics (or at least admits what they are) will intelligently and intuitively encourage his or her child to use the tools in the best and proper manner, with his/her sensitive assistance and collaboration when needed (and they will probably need them because learning is one way for children to get our attention and look for topics to communicate with us).

  • A child who has been able to find our resources and they have attracted his attention and curiosity, by virtue of his/her innate desire to discover through action and study, will be able to find his/her way to the secrets and mysteries of written and unwritten knowledge (with our visual-information assistance).

At the main site of the Znamogika system we focus on the development of "live" resources, i.e. here we are concentrating on working on our Live School Blog. There we constantly publish interactive educational and entertaining games, competitions and innovative educational practices.

 

 

                                                          Everything is Mathematics

The emphasis in our system is mathematics. Why is math so important to us?
In the beginning, it was mathematics ;) That is, the system started with the creation of your well-known Math training kits. The reason for this is the great importance of mathematical concepts for the development of a human being. 
Teachers with years of experience have noticed that a low math performance usually leads to a lowering of the standard of mastery of the course material in all other subjects, as well as a decrease in the overall cognitive level of the class. At the same time, when a child "pulls into development" in mathematics, it invariably leads to a complete change in his/her attitude to learning, to his classmates, to himself.
What is this "magic" formula that turns math into a key to his/her success? The formula for success here lies in the very characteristic of mathematical knowledge, in its structure, logic, ability to configure and construct cognitive circuits in the mind, in the direct connection laid a priori between mathematical language and logic, and the language and logic of the world around us. Everything is math. The coded language of mathematics is embedded in every being. It is in the construction of human perceptions, in the scheme of their communication with others, in the configuration of speech and their thinking, even in their imagination, creating a structure of ordering the images generated in his consciousness.
There is also another reason. If you create positive motivation for a child to do mathematics-related activities and activities, he/she is just beginning to look for positive stimulation from the mathematical connection in his own self-initiated activities. For example, he begins to relax with some mathematical entertaining game or to search for a hobby in which mathematics is an indispensable component of the action, functioning, arrangement or outcome of it.
If you have met children with SEN who are experiencing difficulties with mathematics, you probably know what it means to not have the basic structure and organisation of consciousness to receive information from the outside world. You get the feeling that you have a computer with confusing functions, occasionally losing access to the system because it shuts itself off at its own discretion. Such children need to be provided with a complete chain of mathematical operations to clarify a concept. In the usual case, children miss many of the logical operations that lead to a specific conclusion or decision by default. However, the children in the group mentioned above “lose the connection” if even one unit is missed, which is a necessary link in the logical chain. You may not know which it is, but you will immediately see it by the expression on the face of the child or by some behavioral signals that you have "lost" him, i.e. it has already missed the logical thread. Yes, it takes a lot of systematic, methodical, individual, necessarily positive, organised obligatory on relatively short intervals (sessions) work with such a child. Frequent change of activities and stimuli is required, i.e. interaction. Some people believe that these children are with delayed development. In fact, if you make the effort to communicate with them sincerely (as long as you manage to gain their trust), you will find that these are children with extremely sharp sensitivity, and they digest the outside world in perception blocks, i.e. their type of intelligence is different, their cognitive concept is arranged differently. These children need to take the whole picture at once, putting all their receptors and analysers into action simultaneously.

Do you know why interactive methods have become so frequently used and highly popularised? Because they have proven to be a life-saving formula for the ever-increasing number of children with similar types of perceptions. Meanwhile, they are a "fresh stream" into the stiffened curriculum scheme lesson - revision - test, teaching - asking questions - test. The anxiety, experienced by the children with this type of educational organization, leads to a deadlock in their development. They teach us that there is another way ... And this way is good not only for them but also for others - the so-called normal children. In fact, in today's intense time, individual differences stand out so clearly that it becomes more and more difficult to determine which is the norm and which is the exception. Each child is an individual case and has its own programme for learning and social expression. Their uniqueness is also a contribution to the palette of life here and now. The important thing is that these precious stones of personality shine in their most beautiful lights. We hope that our Znamogika School will help more gemstones to shine in order to create a new Earth together.
